BRRC defends bullied children and helps rebuild lives.

The Bullying Recovery Resource Center (BRRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the resources, education and advocacy needed to stop bullying and stem the long-term effects that bullying has on its targets.

BRRC provides hands-on advocacy for families of bullied children including: 1 to 1 support; legal support; education; filing with the Office of Civil Rights; addressing school boards.

BRRC provides training, seminars and education to organizations and caregivers. Our hope is to provide valuable education and resources to families and children who may be impacted by bullying.

BRRC partners with companies and organizations who serve Colorado youth and families. We provide education, materials and expertise to providers to best serve families impacted by bullying.

BRRC Success Stories

“BRRC helped me and my mom feel like people cared about the bullying that was happening to me. They had a magic show for kids who have been bullied so we can feel happy and cared about. Tom goes to school meetings with my mom so she can have support and have a louder voice to help me and other kids feel safe at school. I’m glad we have had all the help because school is a lot better for me now and I actually like it.”

—7th grade student

“My son was bullied at his former school. He has really benefited from getting to know other children who have gone through similar experiences as him. The programs the kids participate in help bring them all together and learn from each other. He has learned about what being an upstander is and he never had been exposed to that at his former school. His former school really did nothing to teach students to stop the bullying. This is a fantastic organization.”

—Parent

“BRRC is an amazing organization, who provides support to some of the most vulnerable individuals, in what may be their greatest time of need. Dru and Tom are two of the most caring individuals, who can relate from their own personal experience to the pain and struggle that is inflicted upon victims of bullying. They offer a wealth of knowledge to others who are facing a ‘battle’ of their own, and standing up to bullies.”
